The Good, the Bad, The 'Ugly':
A.R.T. was pioneered by Stacie-Rae, a BRCA1+ tattoo artist, while she readied herself for her own PBMX. Created FOR the survivors, BY a previvor who received 'botched' nipple tattoos and is now doing everything in her power to speak up so her sisters can love their bodies again.

*A good tattoo can help a survivor/previvor feel GREAT about their changed body, and forget that anything has been taken away.
*A 'bad' tattoo can do the opposite, a daily reminder of the pain and loss they have endured.
*The truth is that there are currently NO fundamental tattoo training requirements for 'medical' tattooists... So how do you know if your tattooist is qualified?
- Sadly - 'bad' nipple tattoos are a bit more common than we'd like them to be.
